Are Mad Cow Disease Safety Measures Working?
In order to protect consumers, USDA and FDA both have
enacted new sets of rules for dairy farmers, cattlemen,
and meat processors.
Are these rules working?
That depends upon who is answering the question, but new
freedom of information act requests have revealed the
truth behind America's newest act of terror. See:
http://www.abc.net.au/rural/content/2005/s1440675.htm
During the past twelve months, over 1,000 violations
have been issued. During the next twelve months, more
than 10 billion animals will be slaughtered in America.
That's about 27 million per day. One percent of 27
million is 270,000. Can carnivores live with that?
USDA does not consider non-compliance a major problem.
According to government experts, the rules are broken
only one percent of the time.
How can those numbers significantly affect meat eaters?
If beef is eaten once each day, the average American will
be "compromised" between three and four times during the
next twelve months. Got Russian Roulette?
