question about my 10 year old son with noonans   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #807 of 908 |
I have a 10 year old son who is going into the fifth grade next year,
and I am really scared because he is at a first grade level, and when I
went to his IEP today I asked that he be held back but they said that
they don't do that with these particular kids that have a slight
handicap, so I guess what I need to know is there anyone else out there
that is going through the same thing. I really need some advice so
that I can kinda be in a comfort zone for me and him. He will be in a
classroom with grades 5 through 8 which scares me more because my son
is really small and petite and moving into the middle school there will
be more kids that will pick on him.

any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks Joanne
