My son connor had the same condition at age 4 he also had a hernia. He went for surgery quite soon after and it was a success. We have never looked back.Connor has quite a number of procedures done and yes it can be a bit scarey but you must be positive and if you don't understand ask.Good Luck Hope to hear from you soon.
