I am proud to say my son is finally taking steps unaided. Heck he is
almost 32 months old and I was beginning to think he would never walk.
We are working on speech too and he will start occupational therapy
soon. I know delays are common with NS and he had the double whammy of
being born 3 months early. Do NS kids ever catch up??

He is still slowly gaining weight and growing. Slowly!! Then again
most toddlers grow slowly anyway. Like a typical toddler he seems to
want to eat the same 4 foods over and over. I wish I could get him to
eat more in the way of fruits and veggies. The amount of food he eats -
wow he should weigh so much more!!!

I know that constipation is a problem for Noonan's children. I have a
question.... He has a 'habit' of having a bm in the morning. Problem
is that if he has a bm coming he wakes up every hour or so all night
long!!! I have resorted some nights to using a suppository to get him
to go so we can sleep. I know this is crazy but is there any way I can
train him to go late in the evening so his bowels are empty when he
goes to bed?? I have not slept in 32 months and it is taking a huge
toll on my health.

Maria
