Hi Tracy,
We have had the same problems with Zack, who is now 3 years old. The
types of foods we gave him did not matter, he always had constipation
problems. We told his pediatrician and his GI doctor how bad it was
and they put him on a medication called Mirilax (Glycolax) and that has
worked wonders - no more suppositories, no more enemas, no more
straining. He has been on the Mirilax now for over a year and a half.
We are very pleased. Constipation seems to be an issue for Noonans
kids and if I recall, there are quite a few kids that are taking
Mirilax. I would chat with your child's doctor about getting a
prescription for something to help him.
