Hi, my name is Madeline and we are still waiting for the diagnosis...but word has it (as it seems to go for us, we never hear things directly...only from other specialists relaying the latest) our baby boy has Noonan's. He is almost 14 months. I appreciate you sharing your son's current health...seems to me like I've been able to learn so much more from this web site and through the honesty and openness of parents than through the medical world. Our son Henry has feeding issues, heart issues, low ears, is very very small. He is also verbal, very flexible! and loving. I so wish there could be some link between the medical end of things and the emotional. I had to consistantly remind the neurosurgeon the other day that I haven't studied medicine and therefor had no idea what words he was using while talking about whether or not my baby would need head surgery. Ugh. Anyways, it's late and I just wanted to thank you for sharing your
son's update. I wonder if the geneticists ever read these posts? Sincerely, Madeline

Lynda here again,I have just gone through some of the worries that
parents have with their little ones and it does remind me of my son
Connor when he was a baby.Connor is nearly 12 and looking back things
were really hectic.Connor has low set ears, and is going to have
surgery to pin them back,he wears glasses as he has a
stigmatism, pulmonary stenosis, asthma, his joints are hyperexstensive so
are easily dislocated. If this happens he can pop them back into
place.Connor suffers from constipation and an eating disorder. This
seems to be a visious circle as he can go for days not realy eating
much.He has Mearse Irlin Syndrome and is dyslexic. He is very
inteligent but at times this frustrates him because he can't process
information to put down on paper, orally he is great.Connor has just
started high school and with support i hope he will be ok.He is very
small for his age and he hasn't started puberty yet.I was told that he
had actually stopped growing but they won't do any thing about it
until he is 14yrs.Connor has only lost 4 baby teeth and the dentist
has told me that he might not have any teeth present underneath to
come through.I would love to hear from anyone.
Bye for now Lynda.
