I have a 6 year old who has Noonan's. She was developmentally behind when she was 1 year old but now is she on track for her age. We are still not on track with her weight and height. I don't think we will ever be there. But all in all she is pretty healthy. I do have a question for you though, is your niece extremely glumpsy? It seems that Morgan will trip or fall over everything. Her legs look like battle wounds.

Was your niece diagnosed based on a PTPN11 mutation, or was this a clinical diagnosis? If it was clinical, maybe it's actually not Noonan? In a message dated 10/4/2005 6:46:02 P.M. Eastern Daylight Time, quackers30@... writes:Hello! My niece has Noonan syndrome, it is very mild. She is 10yrs

She recently went for a check up and the Nurse Practioner noticed
that
she seemed to be begining to develope. She found this odd since
usually these children are developmentally behind. She was a premi at
birth, and has pulmonary stenosis. Other than that she is fine. I
would have to say she is currently of average height. The NP ordered
x-ray's for bone age and they came back with an age of 11 1/2Yrs!!
Was just wondering if anyone else had had a similar experiance, or if
you know of anywhere else I may look for more info. Thank you all for
your time.
