Hi
I am an adult female in my 40's with possible Noonans. I had surgery for pulmonary stenosis when I was 18. My mom tells me that I didnt gain weight either and had digestive problems. Finally put me on evaporated milk and that seemed to help. I am curious as to exactly how stenosis would slow growth down or affects digestion.
I am currently 4 ft 11 inches. I am wondering if part of the weight problem has to do with metabolism. Even now I weigh the same as I did when I was 20. People can't believe that I can eat as much as I do and never gain. I think part of it is when I am full I stop eating. Kind of like running. My mind may say -keep going. My body says " oh no you dont !! If I say stop you stop !" Also part of it too is that there isn't much of a desire to eat. I could go all day without eating unless you remind me . Unless of course chocolate is involved ! Which is one reason I don't like to cook . Why mess with food if you dont feel the need for it ? smile.
