-Thanks for the welcome.
Logan is very healthy!! He has only had 2-3 VERY mild colds his
short life. This even when DH and both DD had bronchitis and I had
a horrible cold; he got barely a sniffle!!
He is developmentally delayed which is very common in preemies ..
he'll be getting therapy soon.
As far as his weight.. well I explained about his growth pattern and
eating being thrown out of whack when we started packing and moved.
I think he's doing well now that he is eating better. He's also
beginning to explore 'people' food. So eating isn't a problem. And
the ped isn't worried.
My daughter like I said is only 68# and about 4'8" at almost 12
years of age.
Well I said I would tell a bit about my family...
my mother is only 4'9" and weighed under 100# till after she had 2
kids
my father is only around 5'7"
my brother is only around 5'9"
I am only 5' 1/2" and was never more than 100# soaking wet until
after I had my second child
When we left the geneticist yesterday my mother was very offended
and I didn't understand why. Later she broke down crying. She
later called and told me that she was crying cause her whole life
people teased her and basically made her feel worthless because of
her small size.... she didn't want Logan to go through that as
well. I was heart broken; I felt guilty for bringing her. I only
wanted the doctor to see the family traits. Even seeing my daughter
didn't seem to affect the doctor at all. (she and Logan look sooo
much alike that when my oldest was looking at baby pictures of her
sister she said "aww what look how cute Logan was in my arms" then
she realized that she was way too young in the picture and it was
actually her sister not Logan)
Oh I forgot to say that Logan has pulmonic stenosis.
I have to go.. I am sure there will be more to say at another time.
