Dear Jan and everyone,

I am glad to have received your message! Zachary is
an amazing boy, and he really touched our hearts too.
I am sorry you have had such trouble with e-mails.

I was meaning to write Sherri Putvin and family, since
I just received a christmas card from the Children's
Inn with a really beautiful illustration by Jessica,
Miranda's older sister.

The back of the card says " This Artwork was Painted
by Jessica Putvin while staying at the Children's Inn
at NIH. Jessica Putvin is a 14 year old freshman from
Weedsport, New York. She loves to play soccer and
volleyball and ride horses. She has visited the Inn
twice with her younger sister Miranda, who is being
treated for Nomid Syndrome at NIH. Jessica says, 'The
Inn is a really cool place!' "

There is a nice photo of her painting the picture on
the back. Way to go Jessica! I was so excited to see
this card, and see someone we knew, and for the
awareness it will bring to NOMID too.

I have to apologize for being out of touch lately,
time has flown by, and I cannot believe it is getting
to Christmas.

Sherri, if you wnat my copy of this card, send me your
address and I will mail it to you!

Seth is doing well for now, and we return to the NIH
on January 22nd (the day after the big inaguration of
the President). If anyone is going to be there let us
know! We were supposed to go on Jan 1st, New Year's,
but the hospital construction was going to interfere
with some appointments so they rescheduled it.

I hope Zachary and others are doing well, and we wish
you all the best for the holidays! I guess the lack
of correspondance on this site lately is hopefully due
to the good job Anakinra is doing for many. At least
I hope that is the reason!
