We got back from NIH on May 8th I must tell you that we were so
impressed with the staff at both the NIH and the Childrens In. They went
above and beyone for us.
Erika is doing well with her injections and has had only a few
headaches, No skin rash and no joint pain.We leave again on May 31 this
time as out patient as she will be on the withdrawl.
We got to meet Alexanda and her mom from Oklahoma. Alex is an adoreable
little four year old also a Nomids patient. She and Erika hit it off
very well and tears were shed upon our leaving.
For anyone going for the first time believe me you're gonna be on the go
from morning til late aftenoon. It was a very busy week believe me.
Good to hear all thre updates and news on how the injections are working
for all. Sincerely ~Jacie~ grandma to Erika Perez (age 11)
