Dear All,

Thanks so much to the Earnharts for their amazing fundraiser this Fall that
raised over
$4900 for The NOMID Alliance! I am so impressed with what you achieved! I
cannot
thank you all enough.

Thanks also to the Griffins for their annual fundraisers too, and let me know
what we can
do to help with your big fundraiser in March. Michele, the Earnharts have the
vinyl
banners that you can use that are from our booth at ACR photo on website in news
and
events, and in my photo book here.)

Thanks again Dori for going to represent us in Rome at FMFSAID 2008. It was a
real
success. ACR here in october was also a big opportunity for us to get
information about
CAPS to many doctors. W hope to get more CAPS booklets out in the new year.

Also a we will be putting these funds to work in the new year to do targeted
mailings to
more doctors groups, as we can purchase mailing lists now, and improve the
website and
get more languages on the site.

The doctors that have received booklets from all of your efforts to distribute
have
responded favorably, and it is helping more patients get help. thanks again for
your
efforts!

I will be posting out annual reports online at nomidalliance.net soon, and other
things too.
We are an all-volunteer run non-profit, so all the funds go right to the cause,
and no one
makes a salary, but is only reimbursed for any out of pocket expenses.

As we are doing this as volunteers, on top of other things, it can be a
challenge, but for
now, we want all the money raised to go to the cause, and not a salary for
anyone.

It may eventually have to change, if we get busier with more day-to-day things
for the
non-profit, but for now, we will make it work. If I more time I have to
dedicate to the
cause, it would be better, but I have had to work more at my other (paying) jobs
right now
due to the economy, so I feel badly that some projects are getting done slower,
but hope
in the new year to have more time.

We have made great progress, and these funds will be put to good use in
increasing
awareness. I will also do more fundraising and grant writing in the new year to
add to the
funds.

If anyone else is interested in helping, let us know! There is much to be done,
and more
room for volunteers!
