At long last there is a website for drumming and drum programs in our area.... www.lvdrumcircle.com There's lots of information and links. Please let me know if you have any suggestions or comments or experience any problems.
Please check the site for new drumming sessions! The Monday and Wednesday classes are now being called Open Enrollment Classes. Join us if you have some previous drumming experience. Dates and fees are listed on the website.
Beginning in July the Newbie Class has been expanded to 10 weeks. My goal is to get you everything you'll need to feel comfortable playing in an informal gathering or larger ensemble. When you're finished you'll "own" bass, tone and slap sounds and have the confidence to hold down a rhythm by yourself. Dates and fees are listed on the website.
For anyone wanting to venture into some serious drumming, a Master Class will be forming in June.

One last item.............Jim Donovan has asked me to be on his Summer Rhythm Renewal faculty this year. This is an annual event during which you will spend a 4 day weekend drumming from early morning till late evening. It's an opportunity to immerse yourself completely in drumming with no distractions. Highly recommended if you haven't done something like this yet! The link for the Rhythm Renewal site and a download able pdf application are at www.lvdrumcircle.com.
