Hey there Friends of DRUMS from HEAVEN,
Summers coming soon, the time is right for dancin in the street.
This summer also is the 40th anniversary of the legendary Woodstock Music & Art Fair.
The second tribute of the summer is listed below.
July 25 - DRUMS from HEAVEN presents a Guitar/Tambourine Jamboree 7:00-10:30
Outdoors @ St Philips Festival 488 Saddle River Rd. Saddle Brook, N.J. 07663
Features an open free style drum circle with special guests The Cumberland Band.
Ending with A guitar /Tambourine Jam with the band and Drummers from Heaven, and you!
I would also like to raffle off a TOCA DJEMBE. Tickets available at $5. each for a chance to win the Djembe with bag, worth approx. $200. Drawing will be on Sept 5th at The Maywood American Legion picnic with Drums from Heaven.
Please take a chance, to help keep DRUMS from HEAVEN growing.
This is a free event with food and drink available for purchase.
Approximate program:
7PM to 7:30 The Cumberland Band
7:30 to 8:30 Interactive drum circle
8:30 to 9:15 The Cumberland Band
9:15 to !0:00 Interactive drum circle
10:00 to 10:30 Guitar /Tambourine Jamboree (Percussionists mixing it up with TheCumberland Band)
Remember this: ~~~ By the time we got to Woodstock, we were half a million strong,
everywhere was a song and a celebration.....~~~
