The semi-official word from our buddy Pete up north that there will indeed be drumming opportunity at the Columcille Samhain celebration. See note & directions below. Enjoy!!
~Merci
Hi guys;
There will be drumming for Samhain/Halloween at Columcille, this Saturday, October 27th from 7 p.m. to maybe 11 p.m. Beginners are welcome. At 7 p.m. drummers will lead people to various places for festivities, and from about 9 p.m. on, there will be drumming at the stone circle by the entrance.
Columcille is about a 15 minute drive south on route 191 from downtown Stroudsburg. It is a megalithic park dedicated to "alternative spirituality." Check out the pictures at www.columcille.org. Bring a flashlight and a cushion to sit on. There will be some stones to sit on. I have found it a delightful and inspiring place to drum and play music.
