I am forwarding this Hudson River Drum Jam info to over 100 of you in case you don't know about it.
It's at a wonderful setting on the river under a huge cabana run by two very nice people Dana and Joni.
Plenty of room to drum and dance! The weather will be great, come on out and boggie woggie!

Hi Gang,

We've had a change of schedule in our last change of schedule (what can I say!), and we'll be meeting NEXT Saturday, July 7 (NOT July 1).We’ll be at the pier in Hoboken again (an incredible place to drum), so come
share your spirit with us while you enjoy the beautiful environment. If you haven't drummed with us there before, you've GOT to check it out!

                                                Peace,
                                                Dana

HUDSON "COMMUNITY IN RHYTHM" DRUM CIRCLE; Hoboken, NJ
DATE: Saturday, July 7, 2007
TIME: 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM
PLACE:  Pier A (at 1st St. & Sinatra Drive, near the PATH station), Hoboken (see directions below)
SUGGESTED DONATION: $5

Come join us, in a very special environment, and share the communal spirit, energy, and joy of creating rhythm together! This is a relaxed but energetic circle, open to everyone who loves rhythm. Newcomers to the call of the drum are warmly welcomed - NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. Many percussion instruments and some drums will be available, but please bring your own (and a folding chair) if you have them.

We'll be playing together on the north (left) side of Pier A Park, surrounded by trees and grass, the river, and the New York City skyline. You’ll find us near the far end of the pier, under the gazebo (a great place to play, and it's rain-proof!).

QUESTIONS - contact this month's organizers:
- Joni Yecalsik: joni @joniwellness.com;  cell: (201) 207-4448
- Dana McCurdy: danamcc@...
