1) IT'S TIME TO REGISTER FOR FALL CLASSES:

NOTE: New class sessions at Northampton Community College (NCC) start the first week in September
so please register by AUGUST 31 ~ otherwise, the class you want may be cancelled if there are insufficient registrants.
So, for classes at NCC, please do register by August 31!
2) The annual summer drum and dance weekend retreat with Grant Smith and yours truly was grandé ~

3) TAHYA on WDIY:
I've been asked to periodically host the World Rhythms program at WDIY and have been training over the summer. I look forward to the Program Director giving me the 'go-ahead' and scheduling my first on-air program. BTW, they stream on the world wide web so my friends (and your friends) across the country can virtually "tune in' ..... Stay alert for the announcement regarding my going "live"!
4) A full scholarship was awarded to yours truly to attend a FitRhythms(tm) (http://www.FitRhythms.com) training program with Paulo Mattioli in California co-sponsored by FitRhythms(tm) & REMO Drum Manufacturing. I am the first person trained to launch the FitRhythms(tm) program here in Pennsylvania ~ stay tuned for sample programming at a venue near you!

Open to ALL interested parties including but not limited to professionals employed in nursing, counseling, physical therapy, dance therapy, music therapy, etc. particularly those who work with women (for example, women recovering from breast surgery), and/or support group administrators or facilitators.
The 'Tahya Healing Dance' program introduces the healing potential within dance traditions from the Tahya Technique repertoire, i.e., drumming & dance movements "grounded"/rooted in the sacred and secular traditions of North Africa, and the Middle & Far East. The intent is to introduce these arts as accessible tools for relaxation, reconnecting with our deeper selves (and each other), increasing individual creativity and reviving one's health & well-being.
