We hope you'll join us on April 15, 2011 (overnight because this is a LIVE event and there is a -10 hour time difference) to watch the live feed of TEDxRamallah. TEDxRamallah aims to showcase inspiring stories of Palestine. It also aims to educate and inspire by providing a space for people to share their ideas in any field, whether science, education, literature, technology, design, etc. to contribute to the positive perception of Palestine. TEDxRamallah is a one day event that will take place in three venues in three cities: Convention Palace in Bethlehem, Sunflower Theatre in Beirut, and in a venue in Amman.
The Seattle event will feature a welcome reception beginning at 9PM with local speakers, a photo campaign, Middle-Eastern treats, and we will join the Live stream at 11PM to watch the events occurring at TEDxRamallah LIVE. Speakers from Ramallah include: Alice Walker, Huwaide Arraf, Mark Gonzales, DAM, Steve Sosebee and Zeina Barhoum. Learn about these speakers and others at: TEDxRamallah Speakers. You'll be able to convene with the local community and engage in online participation with attendees around the world.
