Rekindle a refugee child's hope
Would you open your home to a refugee youth who has fled civil conflict
or persecution? The U.S. is the only country in the world that accepts
refugee youth and, lately, the need has been greatest for homes for
teenagers from Burma and Congo. In most cases, these are teenagers who
have fled civil war and persecution in Burma, Bhutan, Burundi, Congo,
Somalia, Sudan, Ethiopia, or Eritrea.
We strive to match the refugee youth with foster families who either
share the youth's cultural heritage or are sensitive to the need to
nurture the youth's ethnic identity.
A monthly stipend is included to cover the costs of the refugee youth.
The child's medical and dental expenses are covered too.
