Supreme Injustice: The Grassroots
Verdict against the High Court
Recent Supreme Court rulings slashed abortion rights, school
integration and labor unions’ ability to mobilize. Examine the myth
of judicial impartiality and explore the dynamic impact of community
organizing.

Amy Hagopian Professor at UW School of Public Health, retired School
Board member and PTSA president at Garfield H. S. who worked to keep
military recruiters out of schools.
Nancy Rising King County Labor Council Executive Board member,
activist in Office and Professional Employees International Union
Local 277 and first woman elected to the Bellevue City Council.
Val Carlson Civil liberties attorney, Radical Women leader, veteran
clinic defender and advocate for low-income legal services and
victims of domestic violence.
Come early and enjoy a Summery Salad Supper with vegetarian option at
