Please see below for a training opportunity for those of you who will be in the
Seattle area this summer. Please forward this on to anyone you think might be
interested.

On Friday, July 27, 2007, we will be offering a one-day course on the
principles and practical applications of operations research (OR). The course
will be sponsored by the University of Washington Center for AIDS Research
Scientific Program on Health Services and Strategies Research and is intended
to familiarize participants with the concepts of operations research and how it
can be applied to improve STD/AIDS programs. Instructors will include experts
from the University of Washington and national organizations involved in OR
activities, who together have extensive experience in HIV/ARV program
implementation and operations research in developing countries.

The course will take place on the University of Washington campus on July 27,
2007 from 9am 4pm. There is no registration fee for the course but we would
appreciate advance notice if you intend to participate. If you would like to

location when they are finalized.
