This June and July, Dr. Mona El-Farra, a physician, human rights
activist, and MECA's Director of Gaza Projects, will be coming to the US
for the first time. She's preparing a slideshow of her life and work in
Gaza and will speak to audiences across the country about the situation
for women and children in the occupied Gaza Strip.

The people of Gaza are struggling to survive and build a future while
enduring military attacks, economic sanctions, and nearly complete
isolation. At a time like this, it is more important than ever to hear
from the people of Gaza. We hope you'll come see Dr. El-Farra this summer
and pass on her stories of every day life in Gaza to others in your
community.
