Marie Stopes International (MSI) is a marketing-focused resulted oriented
social business that uses modern management and marketing techniques to
provide quality family planning and reproductive health services in more
than 39 countries world-wide. Marie Stopes International Timor Leste
(MSITL), MSI's affiliate in Timor Leste, is in the process of being
established in 2006 and will operate a number of reproductive health
centres and clinical outreach services

Project Manager, you will be responsible for the establishment of the
organisation, its strategic direction, its continued viability of the
organisation and for the efficient and effective planning, management and
development of its operations to achieve results. Based at the Head Office
in Dili, you will be expected to travel within Timor Leste and externally,
as required.
Applicant Requirements:
Qualifications: A first degree (BA, BSc.) is desirable
Skills/Aptitudes: - Fluency in English (written and spoken) is necessary.
-Ability to develop and implement effective strategic plans and marketing
strategy (new business development). - Familiarity with using financial
information for management decision making. - Highly developed
communication skills. (Including public speaking, PR and one on one.) -
Ability to manage and prioritise a demanding work load. - Ability to work
under pressure. Previous
Experience: -Minimum 3 years management experience. -
Knowledge/experience of health sector is desirable. -International work
experience is desirable. -Experience of working/liaising with Government
officials desirable. Attitudes and Motivation: -Desire to apply strong
management skills to achieve social outcomes. -Supportive of MSI
philosophies. -Commitment to reproductive health in development.
-Commitment to individual's right to control their own fertility.
