Here is a job possibility with an interesting 'faith-based' organization in the
DC area. I havent been in touch with this group lately but from what I know of

The Salvation Army World Service Office (SAWSO) is seeking a Health Program
Officer to support its USAID-funded child survival projects and other
international community health programs. The primary purpose of this
position is to provide technical, administrative and managerial support to
Salvation Army field staff to assist in the accomplishment of development
activities, specifically in maternal and child health programming. Minimum
qualifications include a Master's degree in international public health,
three to five years experience in community health and development,
knowledge of USAID processes and programs, understanding of and sympathy
with The Salvation Army's aims and purposes, fluency in English, strong
cross-cultural communication skills, and excellent writing ability. The
position is based in Alexandria, VA, with extensive international travel.
This is a full-time position with benefits, and salary is dependent on
