This conference is the Portland 'equivalent' of the very successful and
well attended international health conference held at UW last winter (the
venue is alternates sites each year). It is largely organized by students
but has a wide range of non-student participants.

Dear Department Colleagues,

The 4th Annual Western Regional International Health Conference
"Health, Economics, and Human Rights - The Value of Human Life"
February 17-19, 2006, Oregon Health and Science University, Portland, Oregon

Conference organizers are pleased to announce a call for abstracts
for poster presentation at the 2006 Western Regional International
Health Conference. Participants are invited to submit original
research that features the conference themes of health, economics, or
human rights in the context of global health. Student submissions are
especially encouraged. A team from the host institution will review
all abstracts.

Submissions should include a title and list of authors with
institutional affiliation, city, state and country. Research should
be described using sections labeled "background," "methods,"
"results," and "conclusions." Abstracts should be no more than 1,950
characters or approximately 300-350 words, including title, authors,
and abstract body (spaces not counted).

Please provide all contact information for the corresponding author.
Email the submission as a Microsoft Word (.doc) file to the address
listed below.

Submit abstracts to: GHA.OHSU@... (Note: address is case-sensitive)
Deadline: November 1, 2005
