Subject: INVITATION

Dear All,

Dahr Jamail, an un-embedded American journalist in Iraq since Nov. 2003 is coming to the UW-Kane hall on February 20th. Dahr’s reports from Iraq have provided that alternative to the embedded perspective of major US media sources. As he says, “what brought me here was the nearly total failure of the U.S. "mainstream" media to show the truth of this illegal invasion and occupation. How it affected the Iraqis, as well as U.S. soldiers. Overall, they just weren't doing their job, and this has grown even worse.”

Dahr Jamail will be in Seattle on Sunday Feb.20th at the UW Kane Hall – Room 120 at 7:30 PM, hosted by the Interfaith Network Of Concern for the people of Iraq (INOC), The University of Washington – Department of Communication and The Iraqi Community Center of Seattle (ICCS).

Don’t miss this opportunity to meet an eye witness to the war in Iraq. You can go to his website and read more about his dispatches from Iraq at: http://dahrjamailiraq.com.

For more information contact the Rev. Richard Gamble at Keystone United Church of Christ 206 632-6021.

See you there,

Enas Mohamed
