Assalamu Alaikum, Due to the overwhelming request form local individuals;
there will be ONE AIRLIFT from Seattle next week organized by leadership of
the Indonesian community. The cut-off to drop-off items off (to be put in
boxes, clearly labeled with type of items and their approximate value) is on
January 10, 2006 at the following locations.
Drop-off locations:
ISS Islamic School of Seattle, 720 25th Ave, Seattle, 98122
IPTN North America, 1035 Andover Park W., Seattle;
Islamic Center of Eastside 14700 Main ST, Bellevue (1:15 - 1:45 PM, Saturday
& Sunday only)
Tonny Sueharto residence, 15618 S.E. 10th St., Bellevue;
Islamic Center of Everett, 818 W. Casino Road, Everett.
Again the cut-off date for collection for the first batch (AIRLIFT) is
January 10, 2005 and there are some requirements for the collection: The
donated items have to be put in boxes, clearly labeled with type of items
and their approximate value.
Items can include:
1. Tents
2. Thin blankets and sleeping bags
3. Children and adults' clothing and women's underwear and sanitizing pads
4. Ready-to-eat foods and drinks.
5. Ziploc bags with bandages, aspirin, disinfectants
6. Baby Food
7. RELIEF KITS FOR TSUNAMI VICTIMS How to put a kit together...
4 bars of soap
1 plastic bottle of shampoo (13 - 24 ounce size or 450 - 830 milliliters).
Place in plastic bag.
1 tube of toothpaste (minimum 8 ounces or 100 milliliters)
4 adult-size toothbrushes (leave in packaging)
1 hairbrush
1 wide-tooth comb
1 finger nail clipper
1 box of adhesive bandages (minimum 40, assorted preferred)
Please package each kit individually in either 2-gallon Zip-loc bags or
plastic shopping bags.

fundraising for Aceh.

We encourage all brothers, sisters and children to participate in this local
relief effort. This can be a great vehicle for all of us to come together as
communities, families and neighbors. Involve your children's school
teacher, or Islamic school to be a part of this great and noble effort to
help our brothers and sisters.
