steroid inhalers for donation

Dear friends:
Last summer a drug rep donated over 1200 QVAR asthma inhalers. This is a steroid inhaler containing beclomethasone diproprionate HFA, and is the preferred inhaler used by Group Health and our community health center. The catch is that they are changing their packaging and transitioning to the new product so they needed to get rid of the old stuff. Unfortunately it was expiring over the subsequent four months. I managed to find destinations for all of them in six developing countries. These products have a routine expiration date (one year I believe) but I am sure that their shelf life is a lot longer. People interested in the medication were unable to bring them to a number of Ministry of Health sites due to the expiration issue. If any of you would like some anyway, I have 140 more canisters the rep just gave me and I could probably get a hold of a good bit more. The expiration on these is September and October (40 and 80 mg respectively). Let me know if any of you are interested.
Thanks,
Rich Kovar
