As the anniversary of the US attack on Iraq draws near, a number of groups
are planning activities to commemorate that event. See below for
details.
1) Friday, March 19, 7:00 PM
Enas Mohamed, an Iraqi physician, will be speaking at Keystone Church on
the occasion of the 1st anniversary of the war. Bert Sacks will be
presenting along with her.
A documentary film about Amy Goodman and independent media at time of war
in the US will be shown before the talk. Location:

2) Saturday, March 20 - The World Still Says No to War
Global day of protest on the one-year anniversary of the Iraq War
11:00 am - Memorial Interfaith Service at 1st Baptist Church, 1111 Harvard
Avenue (Corner of Harvard Ave. and Seneca St. on First Hill in Seattle)
11:00 am - Seattle Thunder workshops (also at 1st Baptish Church, 1111
Harvard Ave.)
Noon - March, gather at Harvard & Seneca
1:00 - 2:00pm - Rally downtown at a place to be announced.
