War is a major public health and medical hazard. The University of
Washington's Day of Reflection last week discussed some of the
issues related to war and public health when prominent public health
experts presented a session for UW students.
To build on the discussion from last week, an additional discussion
will be held with local experts to further discuss the role of
health professionals in a time of war, heightened security and
bioterrorism.
