Hello All,

Nice job on Feb15 -- Together, we are making a difference -- We are
changing the course of history!

HERE IS YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY TO CHANGE HISTORY:

March 5th is a National Moratorium to Stop the War on Iraq. See the
Moratorium website for a diverse list of participants and to learn more
about the day: www.moratoriumtostopwar.org. It's a day to walk out of
work, walk out of school -- just walk out and send a message to the Bush
administration and the government that a war on Iraq is wrong.

NION and the Muslim Student Association northWEST is sponsoring an event
at Westlake Center, 2pm on March 5th to take part in this national call.
Here are a few things you can do; and at the bottom of this email is a
list of places to find March 5 materials.

HERE IS WHAT WE NEED:

1) GATHER AND POSTER/FLYER: Saturday Mar 1st at 2pm meet at Seattle
Central Community College at the West entry behind the crosswalk on
Broadway in the Capitol Hill district. Look for the NION sign. RSVP for
this event at either kecklefish@... or nionvolunteers@....
Please put MAR 1ST POSTERING in your subject field for easy
identification.

2) Poster and flyer your neighborhood including businesses (location of
materials at bottom of this email).

3) Flyer your schools, workplaces,public events, peace gatherings, at bus
stops, street corners, wherever
people gather.

4) Email all your friends/organizations the call with the info on NION's
rally (found at www.notinourname-seattle.net).

5) Plan to come to the March 5 convergence or plan your own events-
banner hangings, vigils, public presences, church bell ringing, marches,
civil disobedience, sick-ins, walkouts, letter writing, conversation
nights, ETC!

6) Volunteer to help NION with phone calling this weekend. Contact the
NION office at seattle_notinourname@... or call 206-322-3813.

8) Volunteer to help distribute NION materials and staff the NION table
on the 5th.

GET THE WORD OUT. We have posters, flyers and handbills available at
these outlets:

NION office-1820 E. Pine, ring bell, flyers are in front of NION office
door (for:SOUTHEND, CENTRAL DISTRICT
INTERNATIONAL DISTRICT, BEACON HILL)

IAC office, upstairs in -1218 E. Cherry (east of 12th)-I left flyers by
their door, as the "lobby" downstairs is an open space with no tables and
people going to several businesses go through there, so I think this
isn't a great spot, if they were left downstairs anyone can easily throw
them away. (I'll try to call IAC and ask if it's ok if we leave them
