[Neurofibromatosis] Re: Learning abilities of NF1

First, NF1 there is 1 to 3000/4000. NF2 is 1 to 40000 people.
if 1 person has NF there is a 50/50 chance that the child will or will
not have NF, if both Parents have NF then the child has a 75 % chance
of being born with NF. don't know much of the other writer here, people
with NF1 have a defective chromosone # 17 this is a tumor surpressing
gean spelling sorry. NF2 the chromosone is #22, so until they can
change a persons with NF their DNA we just have to wait. just to let
you know there are 8 kids in my family and I am the only one with NF.my
sister said my mom have a few tumors removed when she was young she had
a very mild case of it no problems with it. but I have chatted with
other with NF that all their kids have it.
