On June 8, 1999, I was asked to be a guest on the show. It all started with a bad experience that I had at a fast food restaurant. I was treated rather rudely by an employee because of how I looked. I am rather severely affected by neurofibromatosis and have large tumors on my face, arms and leg. Apparently, this employee was uncomfortable with my presence and made sure I was uncomfortable with his. My friend, Carolyn Farb, was pretty upset when she heard about my encounter and told her friend, Debra Duncan, who promptly asked me to tell my store on her show.
