There is a big difference between cafe au lait spots and the
neurofibroma tumors. The spots are be reduced in color but never
totally "removed". The tumors can be removed, but often come back.

I Have had a total of 4 cut out none of them were lazed. One on each of my shoulders, and two on my right arm. They were pretty ugly and looked like big...
