 I'm 54 years old married with 2 aduilt children. Christina is 30, she was from my wife's first marrage & I adoptd her. Paul will be 29 tomorrow.

 My father & brother had nf 1 as well as Paul & 1. At the age of 6, my brother lost his eye sight to nf from a brain tumer. The Doctors told my parents at the time that he wouldn't live past 12. But god let him live to 19. Some where in his early 60's they found a brain tumer in my father. But Dad desidded not to forgo surgery & he lived to 74.

 In 1985 I had a groth on my small intestine that would rub a blood vesall & cause bleeding. I had to have 12 inches of my small intestine removed. Due to some tainted blood during surgery, I contacted Hep C. But we didn't discover it untill 2001. I spent most of 2002 on treetment to battel this. I have tested clear seance 10 weeks into treetment.

Paul & his wife are trying to have a baby. Seeing what NF can do & what it has done to my family, it scarys me bringing another generation into the world with NF.
