I have Autism Spectrum Disorder to go with my NF. It's not that unusual to have some sort of social learning disorder associated with NF - was a bit of pain to have wait until my mid 30s to find that out though!

My youngest son has the worst of behavior problems related to the
aspergers. He also has the worst manifestations of NF. He had a very
large plexiform partially removed at age 3. It was the size of a
grapefruit. They couldn't remove it all and now it is growing again at
a very speedy rate. I am making him an appointment at the
neurofibromatosis clinic this week.
