Hi, all. It has been a while since I posted last, but a lot has
happened. It has been going on 8 weeks with no car. My mom was in
the hospital a couple of weeks ago with a tumor in her colon. They
did surgery and Thank GOD it was not cancer.

The insurance finally paid on the wreck. I got more than I thought
they would be willing to give. That was on wed. last week and then
on Friday I found a van.

I am so excited. I went Friday to look at a van. It is a red 2000
Ford Windstar, 53,000 miles. It has a platform Lift in the back of
the van. They are going to be put my left gas pedal into the van.
They said I can pick up the van if everything goes right next
Wed.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My new wheelchair will be in the begining of next week
also.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so excited. My wheelchair will be able to go up a 2in curb with
no trouble, it will go at the rate of 6.5miles per hour, it is red
with a gray seat. I picked the color two weeks ago. I was just told
about this Van this week and when I went to see it Friday it was red
with gray interer. I am so blessed with this van. I am getting the
van, the platform lift and the left gas pedal for $9,840.00.

I am so ready to get my freedom back and my mobility back. And it is
just in time, I have an IEP on my youngest daughter on the 11th.


It has been a long 7 weeks and next week is week 8 but THANK GOD IT'S
OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will post again when I have the van and wheelchair at the house. I
can't wait.
