I am just needing a ear to lean on right now. As I posted in early
threads, my grandmother passed away in Oct. 2004 with Colon Cancer,
My dad was in the hospital early Feb. 2005 with a blood clot, but is
now fine.,On Feb. 14, I had my car accident which destoryed my
wheelchair, wheelchair lift, and left gas peddle. still have not got
anything replaced., One Feb. 15, my uncle died(he had NF1 also).
Yesterday 3-9-05 my mom had a colonozopy (sorry on spelling) and they
removed 4 polops and found a tumor in the mouth of her colon that
they say needs to be removed by an operation,( She has NF1 and we do
not know if it is a NF tumor or not) they did an EKG last night and
they found something wrong with it, so enstead of the operation today
they did an angeogram to her heart and THANK GOD the doctor said she
has a perfect heart. He said "he wished he could change hearts with
her, hers was in such good shape." He was the Cardologist. So now we
are wating to see when they are going to do the operation. It may be
tomarrow or it may be in two weeks. We don't know yet. I have no car,
I am having to depend on a friend to take the girls back and forth to
school, they are testing this week so I can't tell them about their
grandma, I have to hide my emotions when they are around when all I
want to do is scream and cry. I have to depend on people taking me to
the hospital to see her and bringing me home before the girls get
home.

Sorry this is so long, I'm just needing to talk to someone.

I found out that my 8 year old is spending either part of her recess
or all of her recess most days on the line (time out for misbehavior
during school day) or (not doing work etc.) when her OT and PT think
she needs to run and play the whole time. I can't get to the school,
I can't see what is going on or talk with the teachers on either
child. It is 4 weeks this week since my wreck and I feel I am going
crazy. The head person at the other guys insurance told my dad that
he thought this was taken care of and we said no it not, and he said
that he wanted us to call the place we have and no matter the cost
they would replace it. that this was not just about replacing a car
it was about my lifestyle and getting me back to the level of freedom
and independance I had before the wreck. So now we are still wating.
I hope my the end of March I have a car and lift and wheelchair
again. I am going crazy. It will be a moth Monday the 14th.

Thanks for leting me vent.
