I didn't understand the article as using fMRI as an example of neurofeedback -- I thought it was primarily about fMRI; as an "new intervention" they are choosing to call neurofeedback - as if the term weren't already being used. Maybe I was just being too paranoid ;-)
(And you were very well-behaved indeed! ;-)
I asked that question about HEG in terms of moving flow from other areas. I haven't seen the articles, but I was told that there are studies showing that the blood flow to the targeted training area increases, but not at the "expense" of other areas -- kind of like thinking itself.
I assume (key word) that the magnet effect is the same principle, but perhaps not.

Hi Karen,
Thanks for sharing that article on neurofeedback. It is very
interesting that they used mri neurofeedback as an example. I cant
imagine a more expensive or difficult to find form of NF :-) ah
well. see how well behaved I was ?
Re the shakti and increasing blood flow. Thanks for having pity on
me. Not to worry though, over the years I have gotten used to
getting no answers sometimes. I am wondering if we are pulling blood
from other parts of the brain and what kind of effect this has in
the long run (or short run for that matter).
