Re: Brain Music

To all,

Although I haven't seen the fully published paper (1998), an abstract
was presented at the Sleep Meetings in 2002
(http://www.journalsleep.org/PDF/main_menu.pdf), with no other full
paper as far as I can find. I remember not being terribly impressed
with the data so I went back and looked up the 2002 abstract. In a 4-
week study there were some improvements in Zung Anxiety score and self-
reported Insomnia symptoms, but no difference between experimental and
placebo groups. In actigraph data there were some differences favoring
the experimental group.

Seems at least worth a closer look.

Ed

How cool is that. And why not plug this music into NCP parameters and synergize this information? Elaine ... From: "John Thompson" <nhtc@...> ... ...

John - This is a much better report than the pretty flippant piece on NBC's Today show in the states on Thursday morning. Intriguing, but it is an entrain and...

Allan, When you say entrain and migrate do you mean the following. That the music produced from the EEG of (for example) a relaxed state of a particular brain...
