Well, here I am, though I have no idea to whom I'm speaking...
I love to pursue connections with people via email, and via the
PASS forum. (I'm not exactly clear what the difference is between
this site and PASS. Perhaps there are 'membership' distinctions.)
I love sharing experiences and hearing of others' experiences
in the realm of neurofeedback (how about 'NF'?--it's quicker)
I've been known to get into professional and 'spiritual' discussions
with people in PASS and am open to engaging with others around the
on-going process of being a trainer, a helper, a healer, a therapist.
There is NO end to learning...at least until the Universe itself comes
to a screeching halt, which could happen tomorrow but more likely
it will be a fat few trillion years from now, and, even more likely, never.
I'm glad the Democrats won the election in the USA (though THEY ain't
saints, either); I wish NF were part of everyone's school curriculum;
I'm saddened by the turf wars that seems to pervade some of the NF
global community; I'm happy that NeuroCARE has been so effective
and that I've not had to do the 'efforting' that I did for 35 years as a
clinical social worker. What else can I say...?
I live in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I wish it were sunnier. I'm grateful
for the gift that NF has provided, including pulling my bi-polar son
out of a manifestly destructive tailspin....that's what got me started.
I do think that the best, most reliable measure of 'truth' is our
direct, human experience. Truth is jealous, it outlives its critics,
and can be tested. The 'truth' of well-being and balance that NF
provides is enough to make me want to sing out loud (while causing
serious concern to my neighbors). Oh well, I'd rather pay a fine for
disturbing the peace than pay the price of silence.
I do look forward to the conversations that will ensue on this site.
Peace and Love,
Michael Andes
