I noted with interest a recent post announcing a "Connectivity Conference". Part
of what was interesting was the following statement in the description
concerning what will be presented at the conference.
"NFB works because of it's relaxing effect on CNS activity in general, and quite
plausibly because of it's strengthening of inhibitory processes in the brain via
this relaxation induction. "
Isn't it interesting how -- despite themselves -- the field continues to find
itself where we have been for years, albeit five or more years after arguing
with me about how "wrong" I was when first moving in those directions "back
when". I wonder how many will "forget" that these ideas have been around for
quite a while, in an easy to use, comprehensive, adaptive training system that
works across the board, with no need for assessment, QEEG, AVE, etc, etc.
Of course it's also the case that apparently there is no interest in having our
perspective and experience presented at the conference. I guess it seems more
"exciting" to think that these are new ideas and techniques that have just
arisen de nouveau.

Same "Stuff", Different Day.
