RE: [neurofeedcommunity] Cranial Stimulators? (CES)

I understand why he is suggesting these products. I have used this with clients. However as Dr. Stroebel used to say-prior to prescribing or suggesting –it is critical that the person be introduced to methods to trigger the relaxation response and or the quieting reflex. Once the client has attempted to learn these tools they will discover that in combination with the Alpha Stim-they can sustain a state of self regulation for longer periods.

Subject: [neurofeedcommunity] Cranial Stimulators? (CES)

Hello All,
A respected psychiatrist has recommended a Cranial Electro Stimulator (CES) for a patient with severe Parkinson's Disease. He sent me to www.fisherwallace.com and www.alpha-stim.com for more information. Is anyone familiar with these devices? Can anyone speak to their effects? Any information and opinions much appreciated.
