Dear Dr. Vijay, Dr. Anand and all
Many ayurvedic physicians are prescribing allopathic medicines and vice versa
It is pathetic to know that many of them prescribe without undergoing training or pursuing any study
Ayurvedic practiotioners prescribe allopathic medicines to give their patients quick relief which is not possible with ayurvedic products
Hence I am of strong opinion that cross curriculum should be developed so that the practitioners will get knowledge about other practices
This cross curriculum also helps patients to check side effects. Because if a patient is taking ayurvedic medicines and get another health problem and goes or needs to go to allopathic practitioner especially in emergency conditions. In this case the allopathic practitioner should have enough knowledge on the ayurvedic drugs that the patient is already under treatment
Cross curriculum definitely benefit the patients and also practitioners
It is suggested to include few subjects of other pathies to the regular curriculum
