A support group for people affected by mitochondrial diseases in North Carolina.

The Tar Heel Mitochondrial Support Network was started for families, friends, and patients with mitochondrial disease or suspected mitochondrial disease who are living in North Carolina. The support group is based out of Chapel Hill, but will include the surrounding areas - of Central and Eastern NC. Other areas of NC are of course welcome. The more the merrier! Our goal is to promote awareness, support and educate as many as we can.
