IMPORTANT: NCEMSF Conference 2008 Hotel Block   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #3249 of 3286 |
Dear NCEMSF Supporter,

With 21 days remaining until the 2008 Conference, registration
numbers have already exceeded those of any previous year, making this
year's 15th Anniversary Event the largest gathering of collegiate EMS
providers to date. As such the host facility, The Crowne Plaza Valley
Forge, is essentially filled to capacity (only a very few rooms
remain available and they may be obtained only by contacting the
Crowne Plaza directly). A second hotel block has been opened at
Marriott's Fairfield Inn, located just 100 yards across a shared
parking lot from the Crowne Plaza. In fact, the two hotels share a
fitness center and conference space.

If you have not already reserved lodging for the 2008 Conference in
Philadelphia, please contact The Fairfield Inn directly at
610-337-0700. Please reference the National Collegiate Emergency
Medical Services Foundation when booking to secure the special
conference rate.

If you experience any difficulty securing conference lodging at
either facility, please notify conf2008@... immediately so
that we may assist you. Please see the Host Facility page on the
conference Web site for further details about the facilities, and
hotel contact information as well as directions.

Not yet registered to attend the conference? There is still time!
Regular registration continues through February 23rd, at which point
registration fees will again rise. If you have registered and not yet
paid, please do so as soon as possible to avoid cancellation. If you
have purchased tokens, please return to the conference registration
utility and assign those tokens to specific individuals.

Lastly, a quick program note: on Sunday, March 2, from 8AM to 4PM
there will be an added opportunity to participate in a disaster
management training course. This course will be limited to 25
people, is approved for an additional eight continuing education
credits, and carries with it an additional post conference program
fee that covers the costs of the course textbook and hands-on skills
station materials. If interested please plan your travel accordingly
and stay tuned for further details.

Thank you and see you in a few weeks in Philadelphia.
