Hello Janne and Elizabeth,
Janne, thank you for your e-mail! I am 39 weeks pregnant and we just met Dr
Kubra Taman tonight! We had also heard good things about her recently and we
have decided to go with her for our birth. Have already told our current
doctor(who we have been with for 7 months) about our decision. We really feel
relieved!
I do know about Ayse Oner. I sent her an e-mail about 10 days ago but have not
heard back from her. Wanted to know if she could recommend a doula/birth
companion. Would be great to have someone but we are not so concerned about it
now that we have a doctor who believes in natural birth.
I met Julia before she left for her trip so I now know about the group for
pregnant moms and new moms. Hope to be able to join one of those meetings soon.
Probably after our baby is born!
All the best for your birth,
Tracy

weeks pregnant and my doctor is Dr. Kubra Taman. She's definitely into natural
birth; I've heard only good things about her and have a friend who gave birth
with her the second time - entirely natural birth and all went well. If you
want, I'll be happy to give you my doctor's contact details. She's freelance and
works mainly with the American Hospital and the International Hospital.

Marie Mongan, founder of HypnoBirthing, hypnobirthing.com . Maybe you've heard
about this? I haven't made contact to Ms Ayse Oner so I can't tell you more
about her. Her website is in Turkish only.

new mothers. Let me know :)
