HoÅŸ Geldiniz!
I've a few questions for you. From the few doctors that I've talked to here in
Istanbul, none seem to think that there is anything wrong with a surgical birth
rate over 80%. A "good" doctor seems to be one whose rate is hovering around
50%. How is it possible to persuade doctors here that surgery isn't the answer
in all cases?
The doctors that I've talked to outside of Istanbul realize that the surgical
birth rate here is ridiculous and it doesn't seem to follow the same pattern in
the rest of the country. Why is that?
What can we do as educated consumers, some of us healthcare professionals
(although not allowed to practice here), and mothers to alter this thinking?
