Now that we've moved to Cengelkoy, I'm actually in a fairly central location for
a change. We are accessible by ferry boat, all manner of public transport, and
plenty of parking for those who drive. I'd be more than happy to host a meeting
just about any day/time of week. For those who need childcare, my daughter is
happy to babysit and does an excellent job with the toddler-and-up crowd. We're
not completely unpacked (and I think that we probably never will be completely),
but there's plenty of space and we can even turn it into a potluck since it will
be around lunch time. Otherwise, I can come up with tea, coffee, and your basic
Turkish spread.
*off topic* As for the La Leche League thing, I can start meetings any time, but
can't call them "La Leche League" meetings until I'm fully accredited. If you
have people to send me, by all means, send 'em my way and we can meet and
discuss breastfeeding following LLL meeting guidelines.

Does that make sense?

group. I would really like to get this foundation settled before moving on to
discussing action, because it will give us a framework to work from for all of
our future activities, and will also make it easier for new members.

that? I organize the Pregnant Mums and Newborns group, but what we are doing is
not limited only to pregnant and new moms, so if you have a good general
contact, it would be great if you would do that.

next week or the week after, if others are also available. Is 11-3 good? Does
that give everyone enough time to arrive and do their business? Regarding
location, as I said my place is available, but not the most convenient to get to
by public transportation. If anyone has other suggestions (preferably home or
office--cafes present too many distractions), great, otherwise, I can help
people get here. It's basically a ferry ride from BeÅŸiktaÅŸ or Bebek,
depending on the time of day, to Anadolu Hisarı, where I can meet you. Then a
5-min ride up the hill.
