Your little one was born on a great day!  Our Gabriel turned one year old on June 27th!

 

I am happy to hear that things went "pretty well" overall - I hope that the episiotomy heals quickly and well.  Regarding the stirrups, an American doctor friend of mine here was telling me how some of the hospital staff were surprised that he doesn't tie his patients to the bed!  I can't believe it, but I know he is not making it up!  Some things here REALLY have to evolve...
